4th Local Stakeholder Meeting of the Project on Empowering Women through Cooperatives

The 4th Local Stakeholder Meeting of the Project on Empowering Women through Cooperatives was held in Isparta on August 23, 2022. The opening speeches were delivered by Mr. Sürur KIR, Head of the Training and Publication Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry; Ms. Gülser USTAOĞLU, Director General on the Status of Women of the Ministry of Family and Social Services; and Mr. Aydın BARUŞ, Governor of Isparta.

The meeting, which aimed to prepare Provincial Roadmaps and Activity Plans to strengthen women’s cooperatives, took place with the active participation of public institutions, local administrations, women’s cooperatives and their unions, companies in the supply chain, academics working with cooperatives, and non-governmental organizations. The program included group studies and presentations.
