DEİK Turkey–Somalia Business Forum

The DEİK Turkey–Somalia Business Forum was held on 3 May 2018 with the participation of companies operating in the fields of furniture, food, pharmaceuticals, fisheries, energy, agriculture, and livestock, as well as the Somali Delegation.

During the forum, presentations were made on business opportunities in Somalia and on investment prospects in the energy, agriculture, livestock, education, and health sectors. The event also included bilateral business meetings between Turkish and Somali representatives.

WYG Türkiye participated in the DEİK Turkey–Somalia Business Forum as a sponsor this year. The forum was attended by Somali businesspeople and the Minister of Commerce and Industry of Somalia, Mr. Mohamed Abdi Hayir.
