Following opening speeches by Mehmet Selim Uslu, President of the Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU); Gabriel Munuera Viñals, Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey; and Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, a family photo was taken with the new scholars.

During the meeting, detailed information was provided to the 2019–2020 Jean Monnet scholars about the scholarship process, administrative procedures, and programme expectations.
