Grant Implementation Training Held Under the Turkey–EU Town Twinning Grant Programme Has Been Successfully Completed

The Grant Implementation Training organized within the scope of the Turkey–EU Town Twinning Grant Programme was successfully completed on 25 January 2019. The training programme began on 23 January 2019 with an opening ceremony attended by Ahmet Kazan, Acting Secretary General of the Union of Municipalities of Turkey, Giulio Gentile, Deputy Head of Trade and Other EU Policies Section of the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey, and Bülent Özcan, Acting Director General for Financial Cooperation and Project Implementation at the Directorate for EU Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the 2.5-day programme, representatives from the Technical Assistance Team and the Directorate for EU Affairs provided participants with detailed information on grant implementation rules, project implementation methods, procurement procedures, reporting, and the monitoring information system.

The Grant Implementation Training concluded successfully with the presentation of certificates to participants.
