INCLUSIVE EDUCATION SUMMIT

Organized under the slogan “We Are One with Our Differences,” the Inclusive Education Summit took place on June 21–22 at Ankara ATO Congresium within the scope of the Inclusive Education Development Project (BEGEP), which has been implemented by the Directorate General of Special Education and Guidance Services of the Ministry of National Education since 2019, co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye. The event, which attracted great interest from teachers, academics, and NGOs, featured opening speeches by Dr. Faruk Cengiz Tekindağ, General Manager of WYG Türkiye; Mr. Kemal Varın NUMANOĞLU, Director General of Special Education and Guidance Services at the Ministry of National Education; Ms. Eleftheria PERTZİNİDOU, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to Türkiye; and Mr. Nazif YILMAZ, Deputy Minister of National Education. The “Inclusive Education Summit” will continue tomorrow with a rich program including expert speakers, workshops, “Good Practices” stands from NGOs and schools, and paper presentations.
