Information Days on Accreditation for University Staff

Within the scope of the “Technical Assistance Project for Enhancing TÜRKAK’s Capacity in the Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies,” the Information Days on Accreditation for University Staff were held as a hybrid event in Ankara on December 22–23, 2021.

The opening speeches of the seminars were delivered by Mr. Kürşat Özdemir and Mr. Serhat Gök, Deputy Secretaries General of TÜRKAK.

The event attracted significant attention, featuring presentations by field experts on various topics such as accreditation services, Türkiye’s accreditation infrastructure, accreditation processes, and the benefits of accreditation. Participants were also informed about the processes of becoming an Accreditation Assessor and Technical Expert. More than 600 participants attended the event both in person and online.

The Technical Assistance Project for Enhancing TÜRKAK’s Capacity in the Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies is co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye and implemented by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.
