Information Seminar for Conformity Assessment Bodies Held in Ankara on September 27–29, 2021, Within the Scope of the Technical Assistance Project for Enhancing TÜRKAK’s Capacity
Within the scope of the “Technical Assistance Project for Enhancing TÜRKAK’s Capacity in the Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies,” co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye and implemented by the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, an Information Seminar for Conformity Assessment Bodies was held as a hybrid event in Ankara on September 27–29, 2021.
The seminar, organized for the Product, Service, Inspection, Certification, Testing, and Calibration Accreditation Departments, covered topics such as current developments in accreditation in Türkiye and within TÜRKAK, the role of conformity assessment in the context of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030, updates from EA–ILAC, remotely conducted activities during the pandemic period, and TÜRKAK policies. These topics were shared and discussed with assessors and experts in the field.
