Information Seminar Held for Non-Governmental and Public Institutions

Within the scope of the IPA II project co-financed by Turkey and the European Union, and for which the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) is the beneficiary, an Information Seminar for NGOs and Public Institutions was held on 13 October 2021 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Ankara.

According to the Global Quality Infrastructure Index (GQII) program, an open data and information source on metrology, standardization, accreditation, and related services, Turkey ranks 17th among 184 countries in terms of the advancement of its accreditation infrastructure.

The Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) is one of only nine national accreditation bodies recognized in all areas covered by the Multilateral Agreement (MLA) of the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA), which has 36 full members and 13 associate members.
