Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme
The Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme aims to contribute to the establishment of the administrative capacity needed in areas related to the EU acquis by increasing the number of experts specialized in these fields, within the framework of Turkey’s goal of full membership to the European Union.
Applications for the 2018–2019 academic year opened on 25 December 2017 and closed on 23 February 2018.
In the 2018–2019 academic year, it is planned to award scholarships to 180 individuals. The Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, open to anyone wishing to specialize in the EU acquis, accepts applications from the following groups:
- Public sector employees (including those working in professional organizations with public legal entity status, chambers, local administrations, development agencies, etc.)
- Private sector employees (including those working in civil society organizations, resident foreign missions, etc.)
- Academic and administrative staff of universities
- Final-year undergraduate students or postgraduate (master’s or doctoral) students enrolled at universities
Applications must be submitted in a sealed envelope by post, courier, or in person to the Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU) no later than 23 February 2018 at 17:00.
