Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme – Scholar Information Meeting

The Jean Monnet project team met with the scholars who were awarded the Jean Monnet Scholarship for the 2022–2023 Academic Year on Monday, June 13, in Ankara.

The Pre-Scholarship Information Meeting began with opening speeches by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs, Ambassador Mr. Faruk Kaymakcı; Mr. Laurent Guirkinger, Deputy Head of the Economic and Social Development Section of the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye; and Mr. Barbaros Murat Köse, Acting President of the Central Finance and Contracts Unit. The event continued with presentations on program approval, contract procedures, and monitoring processes.

During the event, former Jean Monnet scholars shared their experiences, while representatives from the Directorate for EU Affairs and CFCU Turkey answered questions from the participants. As the WYG Türkiye family, we wish all Jean Monnet scholars a successful academic term.
