Kick-off Meeting of the Project for Developing Türkiye’s Research and Innovation Capacity on Rare Earth Elements

The Kick-off Meeting of the Project for Developing Türkiye’s Research and Innovation Capacity on Rare Earth Elements was held at the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye on July 27, 2022. The 24-month project will be implemented in collaboration with the Directorate of EU Financial Programs of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, the Directorate General for Industry, the General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration (MTA), the Munzur University Rare Earth Elements Application and Research Center (MUNTEAM), and a consortium led by WYG Türkiye.

The overall objective of the project is to support the establishment of a sustainable rare earth elements supply chain for Türkiye’s economic development.
