MİSGEP Project I. Steering Committee Meeting Held Online on 28 May 2020

The I. Steering Committee Meeting of the MİSGEP Project was held online on 28 May 2020 with the participation of representatives from the Directorate General of Occupational Health and Safety of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services, the EU and Financial Assistance Department of the Ministry, the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey, and other project partner institutions.

The meeting began with an opening speech by Cafer Uzunkaya, Director General of Occupational Health and Safety. The Technical Assistance Team provided information on the activities carried out during the first six months of project implementation. In addition, OHS experts shared detailed information about one of the key components of the project, the Financial Support and Guidance Programme.

Following the presentations, questions raised by representatives of project stakeholders such as TOBB, TİSK, TÜRK-İŞ, HAK-İŞ, and TMB were answered. Participants exchanged views on the project implementation process and discussed potential areas of cooperation for the future.
