Project for Establishing an Effective Monitoring, Evaluation and Coordination Mechanism for the Roma Strategy Document (ROMSİD), Closing Event

The Closing Event of the ROMSİD Project was held on February 2, 2023, and began with speeches by Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services Mr. Rıdvan DURAN, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Mr. Faruk KAYMAKCI, Head of the EU Delegation to Turkey Ambassador Mr. Nikolaus MEYER-LANDRUT, 27th Term Member of Parliament Mr. Cemal BEKLE, and Acting President of the Central Finance and Contracts Unit Mr. Barbaros Murat KÖSE. The morning session concluded with the Project Closing Presentation by Mr. Ömer Turan MAZGAL, Head of the Social Cohesion Department at the Directorate General for Family and Community Services, and a presentation titled “The Importance of Developing the Capacities of Public Institutions on Social Inclusion in the Context of Fundamental Rights” by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sümeyye DERİN. In the afternoon, a “Success Stories Panel” was held.
