Project on Empowering Women through Cooperatives – Local Stakeholder Meeting

Within the scope of the Project on Empowering Women through Cooperatives, the first Local Stakeholder Meeting was held in Ankara on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, with nearly 200 participants. The opening speeches were delivered by Ms. Nimet Kaleli, Acting Head of the Extension and Training Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry; Ms. Gülser Ustaoğlu, Director General on the Status of Women of the Ministry of Family and Social Services; and Ms. Elif Nur Bozkurt Tandoğan, Deputy Governor of Ankara.

Through group work conducted with stakeholders from the cooperative ecosystem, the meetings aim to prepare Provincial Roadmaps and Activity Plans to strengthen women’s cooperatives.
