Second Round of Capacity Building Trainings Kicked Off in Istanbul

The second round of Capacity Building Trainings, to be held in 10 pilot provinces, has started in Istanbul. The trainings cover the topics of Project Cycle Management, Volunteer Management, and Community Mobilization. In addition to participants from the pilot provinces, representatives from civil society organizations (CSOs) in neighboring provinces are also attending the three-day sessions.

During the first two days of the training, participants will engage in group work focused on problem and stakeholder analysis, logical framework, objectives and strategies, activity planning, budgeting, and monitoring and evaluation under the framework of Project Cycle Management. The final day will focus on volunteer management, volunteer policy analysis, motivation, and the principles and practices of community mobilization. The trainings will be completed between 4 February and 4 April 2019.

The first round of trainings, which covered the topics of “Qualified Service Delivery in the Social Sector” and “Advocacy and Communication”, was successfully completed in 10 provinces with the participation of 267 representatives from 189 CSOs and 58 public officials.
