Technical Assistance Project for Strengthening the Role of the Ombudsman Institution in the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights

Within the scope of the Technical Assistance Project for Strengthening the Role of the Ombudsman Institution in the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights, the training on “Migration and Migrant Rights in National and International Law” was held in Ankara on August 23–25, 2022. The training, conducted with the participation of experts from the Ombudsman Institution, covered topics such as fundamental principles, human rights law, international protection legislation and procedures, administrative detention, appeal procedures, and field practices. The training, attended by Chief Ombudsman Mr. Şeref Malkoç and UNHCR Representative in Türkiye Mr. Philippe Leclerc, concluded with the presentation of certificates to the participants.
