The Third Capacity Building Training on Town Twinning Continues in Istanbul Between 18–21 June 2019

The third session of the Capacity Building Trainings on Town Twinning, organized under the Town Twinning Between Turkey and the European Union Project (TWIN), continues in Istanbul between 18–21 June 2019. The project aims to strengthen administrative capacity during Turkey’s EU accession process.

This four-day training focuses on the institutional framework of town twinning, key institutions and their functions, thematic approaches to twinning, capacity development for municipalities, engagement of key stakeholders, and ensuring sustainability in town twinning initiatives.

Participants from various municipalities and local administrations are sharing experiences and developing strategies to enhance effective collaboration between Turkish and EU local authorities.
