WYG Turkey Opens Its New Office Building

WYG Turkey inaugurated its new office building with a reception held on 7 February 2018.

As a pioneer in its sector and a leading organization in its field, WYG Turkey has successfully implemented and continues to manage numerous projects, contributing to the management of both social and technical projects financed by the European Union and other international donors. Its wide range of services includes Socio-Economic Consulting, Technical Consultancy and Engineering, Information Technology Management, and Programme and Project Management. With over 100 full-time employees and more than 200 project-based experts from various technical backgrounds, WYG Turkey provides international-level services through its headquarters in Ankara and Istanbul and approximately 20 project offices across the country.

With the opening of its new building, WYG Turkey aims to continue providing strong, customer-oriented professional services in its existing and expanding regions, maintaining its commitment to “Making a Difference”.

During the opening ceremony, WYG CEO Douglas McCormick stated that the new building reflects WYG’s long-term commitment to Turkey and emphasized that the company aims to make a difference particularly in the areas of migration, water, and energy by leveraging Turkey’s strategic position. WYG Turkey General Manager Dr. Faruk Tekindağ expressed his excitement about the new building and highlighted their goal to lead transformation in the project management and technical consultancy sector by making a difference. He added that WYG Turkey will continue to successfully implement projects across different regions with Turkey as its central hub within a long-term perspective.

The reception was attended by senior representatives from embassies, ministries, and development agencies, as well as representatives from various institutions and organizations.
