Project Objectives and Results:

The overall objective of the project is to improve the competence of the State Planning Organisation’s co-ordination partners in the preparation, coordination and organisational implementation of EU-oriented regional support programs.

The achieved results of the project are as follows:

Result 1: Responsibilities for the management of the EU Funds established

Result 2: Update and further elaboration of the National Development Plan

Result 3: Increase in overall capacity for regional development planning, implementation and monitoring

Result 4: Strengthening administrative capacity for the sound and efficient implementation of the EU funds

Target Groups:

• Turkish population, indirectly benefiting from the planned projects of the EU-oriented regional programs
