EXTERNAL TRAINERS POOL FOR DECENTRALIZED IMPLEMENTATION SYSTEM (DIS) RELATED TRAINING

Project Objectives and Results:

The overall objective of the project is to enable the Turkish administration to take an active and effective role in the preparation of financial co-operation projects and sub-projects financed by the EU, as well as their technical and financial implementation within the framework of the DIS and support all relevant Turkish institutions in fulfilling their pre-accession roles and functions.

The achieved results of the project are as follows:

Result 1: Development of standard course packages for training courses in 9 DIS related subject areas, both in English and Turkish

Result 2: Delivery of on-call training on 9 identified subject areas to minimum 1000 selected trainees as per request of the Secretariat National Aid Co-ordinator (SNAC)

Result 3: Delivery of on-call training on 10 identified subject areas to approximately 1000 selected trainees from public institutions and establishments, 43 on-demand activities with an average class size of 20 participants

Result 4: Provision of advice to key line ministries and public institutions to facilitate the setup of their own training units
