Project Objectives and Results:

The overall objective of the project is to increase the economic and social development of the Turkish Cypriot community in a sustainable manner thereby contributing to the reunification of the island of Cyprus.

The achieved results of the project are as follows:

Result 1: Preparation of businesses for compliance with the Acquis Communautaire as of 2010

Result 2: Contribution to the growth of private sector and to the diversification of local economy

Result 3: Improvement of the quality of business services available to the private sector by means of a more conducive environment for economic development; an expanded private sector fulfilling EU standards

Result 4: Increasing the rate of adoption of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and competences
