TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR ESTABLISHING STRONG MONITORING, EVALUATION AND COORDINATION MECHANISM FOR NATIONAL ROMA INTEGRATION STRATEGY (FOR THE ACTION PLANS)

Project Objectives and Results:

The Project aims to achieve measurable progress towards the full enjoyment of all fundamental rights and freedoms by all individuals without discrimination in the area of Roma rights.

The results to be achieved are as follows:

Result 1: A strong and comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework and mechanism is in place and functional to assess the progress of the actions and the degree of the implementation of the Roma Strategy Document at national and local level.

Result 2: The capacity of the staff of MoFLSS, particularly those of the General Directorate of Family and Community Services (DGFCS) and the key stakeholders are developed and functional to ensure that an efficient and effective M&E of the NRIS at national and local level exists.

Result 3: Cooperation, coordination and communication between relevant stakeholders as well as the Roma NGOs at national and local level with an inclusive approach are enhanced to assess the degree of the achievement of the objectives and the progress of implementation of the actions of the Roma Strategy Document.
