Project Objectives and Results:

The overall objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness capacity of the tea industry concentrated in Rize and its environs by improving the common R&D, innovation and business development infrastructure that will be used by the Small and Medium Size Enterprises (SMEs) producing tea.

The achieved results of the project are as follows:

Result 1: Introduction of the new Tea Law.

Result 2: No decrease in tea production.

Result 3: Sustainability of interest and commitment of SMEs in tea processing.

• The professional organisations representing those SMEs
