Project Objectives and Results:

The overall objective of the project is to promote the employability of women and support women entrepreneurship by facilitating sustainable vocational training, entrepreneurship and employment mechanism in the ready-made garment (RMG) sector for women including those who are unemployed, out of labour force, who are working home-based and/or as unpaid seasonal family workers.

The achieved results of the project are as follows:

Result 1: Improvement of employability and entrepreneurship capacity of women.

Result 2: Increased level of awareness about women’s participation in labour force and establishment of a web-based training and communication platform.

Result 3: Establishment of an effective ready-made garment business network for the improvement of the local capacity of ready-made garment sector and increasing the knowledge about RMG-based initiatives.

Target Groups:

• Women, who are unemployed, out of labour force, who are working home-based and/or as unpaid seasonal family workers, who are willing to become entrepreneurs in the ready-made garment (RMG) sector
