Project Objectives and Results:

The overall objective of the operation is to support the implementation of HRD OP by increasing the capacity of the final and potential beneficiaries using the funds and increasing public awareness and information level with respect to the preparation for and effective use of the IPA funds in Turkey by assisting the OS on activities aiming to increase the capacity and awareness to inform potential beneficiaries and general public about the opportunities provided by HRD OP implementation and outcomes.

Result related to measure 5.2:

Increased capacity of potential and final beneficiaries on project preparation and management

Increased capacity of regional grant monitoring and Technical Assistance Teams (RGMTT) on grant monitoring and delivering technical assistance to potential and end beneficiaries

Successful operation and grant projects prepared and implemented by operation and grant beneficiaries in eligible regions

Result related to measure 5.3:

Increased awareness of public and beneficiaries on the HRD OP activities and results

Better understanding of the role of the EU and national institutions by the public

Increased number of project applications corresponding to call for proposals

Target Groups:

  • The measure based identified central and local potential and end beneficiaries under the HRD OP
  • Public institutions at central level such as Turkish Employment Agency, Ministry of National Education, Governorships, Municipalities and other local authorities, Social Partners, NGOs, chambers of Trade and Industry and SME representative institutions, Educational institutions, including universities, particularly those undertaking vocational education and training
  • Central and local end beneficiaries under the HRD OP
  • Central Grant Monitoring Teams (CGMT) and Regional Grant Monitoring and Technical Assistance Teams (RGMTT)
