Project Objectives and Results:

The overall objective of the project is to reinforce the culture of ethics by strengthening the capacities of the Council of Ethics for Public Officials and NGOs through ensuring sustainable cooperation on ethics between NGOs, public and private sector, thereby contributing to the prevention of corruption in Turkey in line with European and other international standards.

The achieved results of the project are as follows:

Result 1: Improvement of the quality and visibility of the Council and its secretariat to contribute the efforts of preventing corruption

Result 2: Continuous dialog among the NGOs, public and private sectors to raise their ethical standards and prevent corruption in society

Result 3: Raising awareness on ethical issues among the NGOs, public and private sectors for further prevention of corruption in the society

Result 4: Raising awareness levels of public about combatting corruption and ethical problems

Result 5: Strengthening advocacy and monitoring capacities of NGOs working in Turkey in the fields of ethics and corruption
