Project Objectives and Results:

The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the improvement of community health by preventing problems in supplying safest blood by contributing to the establishment of an effective coordination between MoH, MoNE and TRC and increasing the capacity of related parties to develop and attitude among students for voluntary blood donation.

The achieved results of the project are as follows:

Result 1: Increased knowledge and understanding level of students on importance of voluntary & non-remunerated blood donation nationwide

Result 2: Development of human resources capacity of MoNE, MoH and TRC on voluntary & non-remunerated blood donor recruitment

Result 3: Raising awareness of the public on blood donation by two Blood Donor Education & Recruitment Campaigns in 500 pilot schools and Media & Public Relation Campaign nationwide
