Project Objectives and Results:

The overall objective is to contribute to the environmental protection and sustainable use of water in Turkey with implementing awareness raising activities on environmental protection, and effective and rational utilisation of water resources.

The achieved results of the project are as follows:

Result 1: Improvement of level of awareness of pre-primary, primary and secondary level of students regarding sustainable use of water and environmental protection.

Result 2: Institutional capacity building for stakeholder institutions by means of comprehensive training programmes aiming at “Training of Trainers”.

Result 3: Promotional Campaigns to improve public’s attitude towards sustainable use of water and environmental protection awareness in the 3 pilot basins.
