TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPERVISION FOR SEYDİŞEHİR WATER AND WASTEWATER PROJECT

Project Objectives and Results:

The overall objective of the project is to accelerate Turkey’s accession to the European Union by enabling Turkey to achieve a high level of environmental protection and compliance with the EU water and wastewater sector directives.

The results achieved are as follows:

Result 1: Institutional development/strengthening of the Water Utility Department (WUD) in the Municipality of Seydişehir

Result 2: Capacity building to enable the implementation of planned projects

Result 3: Contract management and supervision for construction of Seydişehir WWTP and other infrastructural investments

Result 4: Preparation of design report, drawings and full tender dossier for re-zoning of water distribution system based on PRAG and FIDIC Contract Conditions

Result 5: Contract management and supervision for construction of re-zoning of water distribution system Component

Result 6: Review and update of the tender dossier including market survey for the provision of equipment and provision of technical assistance in tendering, contracting, successful delivery and use of the equipment
