Project Objectives and Results:

The overall objective of the Project is improving the environmental conditions in Turkey by implementation and enforcement of the EU Environmental Acquis (Regulation (EC) No 66/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2009 on the EU Ecolabel) in the framework of the National Environmental Labelling System and supporting Turkey for establishment of the National Environmental Labelling System and ensuring the Institutional Capacity Building.

The results achieved are as follows:

Result 1: Strengthened the institutional capacity for implementation of the national environmental labelling system

Result 2: National regulations harmonised with the EU Ecolabel regulation in cooperation with stakeholders

Result 3: Increased awareness on the ecolabel system
