Rare Earth Elements Closing Ceremony

The Closing Event of the ‘Enhancing the Rare Earth Elements (REEs) Research and Innovation Capacity of Türkiye (REE Project)’ was completed in Ankara on 17 December with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Kasım Gönüllü.

Within the scope of the closing event, the outputs obtained under the REE Project, the renewed and established laboratory infrastructure and pilot facility within MTA and MUNTEAM, studies in the field of Rare Earth Elements (REE), and future collaborations were discussed.

In this context, the program was completed after discussing the important steps for increasing Türkiye's National R&D capacity in REE and establishing a sustainable REE supply chain through strong cooperation among the public, industry, and universities with comprehensive panel sessions.
