ROMSİD – Hungary & Slovakia Study Visits

Within the scope of the ROMSID Project, the second set of international study visits was conducted to Hungary and Slovakia between September 26–30, 2022, with the aim of examining public policies implemented in host countries to support the social inclusion of Roma citizens, as well as observing how these policies are implemented, monitored, and evaluated.

In Hungary, visits were made to the Autonomia Foundation, the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Budapest, officials of the Roma Civil Monitoring (RCM) 2021–2025 Project, and Romaversitas. In Slovakia, meetings and visits were held with the National Roma Contact Point of the Slovak Republic, the Office of the Plenipotentiary of the Government of the Slovak Republic for Roma Communities, the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye, the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family (MLSAF), the MLSAF Implementation Agency, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic.
