Women's Cooperatives Week

Within the scope of the ‘Women's Cooperatives Week Event’ an International Conference was held on 2-3 December, Workshops were organized on 4-5 December, and a Closing Event was held in Ankara on 6 December.

In her speech at the closing event, the Minister of Family and Social Services Ms. Mahinur Göktaş underlined that the Ministry will continue to support women's co-operatives and work with determination to turn existing vulnerabilities into opportunities and explained the projects they have implemented for women's co-operatives. After her speech, Ms. Göktaş presented the awards distributed within the scope of Women's Cooperatives Week. Ms. Göktaş examined the stands set by 80 women's co-operatives from 30 pilot provinces in the framework of the project.

During the ‘Women's Cooperatives Week Event’, the importance of supporting women's cooperatives and women's employment was highlighted.
