Project Objectives and Results:

The overall objective of the project is to contribute the improvement of the quality and coverage of the NSSF services by enhancing the strategic technical and institutional capacity of the NSSF, improving the legislative framework and the related quality of service of the Actuarial Department and the NSSF operations by implementing management of change through awareness and communication.

The results to be achieved are as follows:

Result 1: ICT Master Plan for this project reviewed and developed.

Result 2: Technical Support and Warranty provided for 1 year for the application software developed and implemented for this project (software for scorecard, actuarial system, Document Management System, Archiving and Workflow System, complaint system, website update and Human Resources Management).

Result 3: Strategic Positioning of the NSSF reviewed and developed.

Result 4: Capacity of Strategic Planning and Relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) developed and improved.

Result 5: Improvement of the administrative organisation of the NSSF.

Result 6: Capacity of staff improved through capacity building.

Result 7: Enhancing the mainstreaming the social insurance coverage.

Result 8: Improvement of the quality of service of the Actuarial Department and data mining tools to utilise the available data for a better decision-making process.

Result 9: Existing procedures reviewed and streamlined.

Result 10: ICT link of the NSSF administration mainstreaming communication with “external world”, contract with hospitals, doctors and pharmacists.

Result 11: Rationalisation and modernisation of NSSF methods of management, strengthening the visibility of the project, raising the level of awareness of all stakeholders on the undertaking efforts and NSSF staff to create ownership mentality to the project.
