3-Day Kayseri Tour of "Shift Stories with Güven Usta" was completed on August 11, 2021

Financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey and carried out by the General Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety (İSGGM) of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. Prepared under the “Interactive Training Seminars Through Drama” activity of the “Improving Occupational Health and Safety Project, Especially in the Mining Sector” (MISGEP), "SHIFT STORIES" with GÜVEN USTA” Kayseri tour of the 8-part interactive theater was completed with 3 plays.

The interactive theater play tour "Shift Stories with Güven Usta", which was prepared with the aim of raising the awareness of occupational health and safety of mine workers, encouraging communication and cooperation, and creating team spirit, with MİSGEP Interactive Training Seminars through Drama, was in Kayseri on August 9-11, 2021. To the event; Employees of DPI Mining, Zengan Mining, Dedeman Mining, Oreks Mining, Turmetco Mining, Havadan Yeresi Mining, Almila Mining, Golemen Mining, Ergun Mining and Elmaci Mining, which also include the mines that are eligible for support within the scope of Financial Support and Guidance Program. In addition, the Mayor of Yahyalı and the officials of Kayseri SGK and İŞKUR attended the event.

Approximately 600 mine workers were reached with 3 screenings in Kayseri, with the interactive theater play "SHIFT STORIES WITH GÜVEN USTA", reaching the mine workers with the motto "We Are Where You Are",  event, has received the contributions and opinions of the mining employees after each episode and won the intense interest and appreciation of the participants.

With the MISGEP Tour Stage, which was prepared within the scope of Interactive Education Seminars through Drama, developed with the drama technique, which is one of the most effective methods for understanding human behavior, communication-based issues and abstract concepts, nearly 60 seminars will be held by going to the quarries where the mine workers in more than 30 provinces and 10.000 employee will be reached.

After Kayseri, the interactive theater of Shift Stories with Güven Usta will be staged in the provinces of Elazığ, Artvin, Gümüşhane, Giresun, Tokat and Amasya in August, and will continue to meet with mine workers. The event will be completed by the end of September 2021.
