TSE Standardization Seminar was Held in Eskişehir

Turkish Standards Institute, organized as part of the awareness campaign to inform participants about the topic to "lead the Standards" informations third seminar was held in Eskişehir. Lead the Standards!” The Awareness Campaign is carried out within the scope of the Technical Assistance for Developing the Standardization System and Raising Awareness.

The seminar, which aims to create public awareness on standardization, started with the opening speeches by the President of the Turkish Standards Institute, Prof. Dr. Adem ŞAHİN, President of EOSB Nadir Küpeli, President of Eskişehir Chamber of Industry Celalettin Kesikbaş and Chairman of Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce Metin Güler.

After the informative presentations about the project, Eskişehir Industry and Technology Provincial Director Muhammet Taha Güven gave information about Eskişehir production portfolio and standardization studies.

Founder of ENTEKNO A.Ş, Faculty Member of Eskişehir Technical University, Head of Cosmetic Mirror Committee Prof. Dr. Ender Suvacı and TAI, Aerospace Mirror Committee Member Ayça Ulusoy informed the participants about the Industrialists' Role in Mirror Committees.

University-Industry cooperation in standardization plays an important role in the process of establishing standards. Microbiota Biotechnology Industry and Technology Inc. Chairman of the Board of Directors and ESOGÜ Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Ahmet ÇABUK and Kenan IŞIK, President of ESİAD Eskişehir Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association, drew attention to the importance of the issue in their speeches.
