Within the scope of MISGEP, which is carried out by the General Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety (İSGGM) and financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, in order to improve the occupational health and safety conditions in mining workplaces and to raise awareness in this field, “MİSGEP Mining Industry Consultation Meeting” covering 25 provinces in 7 regions of Turkey are continuing in Afyonkarahisar. Afyonkarahisar Deputy Governor Mehmet KEKLİK, General Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety Head of Legislation Affairs İsmail GÜLTEKİN, İŞKUR and Social Security Institution, KOSGEB, Zafer Development Agency, Afyonkarahisar Investment Support Office representatives, mining enterprises serving in Afyonkarahisar region, OSGBs and NGOs and senior executives attended the meeting.

Financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey and carried out by the General Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety (İSGGM) of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. Prepared under the “Interactive Training Seminars Through Drama” activity of the “Improving Occupational Health and Safety Project, Especially in the Mining Sector” (MISGEP), "SHIFT STORIES" with GÜVEN USTA” has opened its curtains to 150 mine workers in Eskişehir on September 1, 2021.

Prepared under the “Interactive Training Seminars Through Drama” activity of the “Improving Occupational Health and Safety Project, Especially in the Mining Sector” (MISGEP), "SHIFT STORIES" with GÜVEN USTA” has opened its curtains in Bolu on August 31, 2021.

The last stop of the Role and Awareness in Integrative Education seminars was in Trabzon. During the 35 seminars which was held, RAM Administrators and School Principals discussed on how to improve educational practices in schools through inclusion/integration, and what to do to strengthen the work with families and teachers who are actors in this process. The opening speech of the Trabzon seminar was made by the Ministry of Education of Trabzon Provincial Deputy Director, Mrs. Fatma Zehra AYDIN.

Turkish Standards Institute, organized as part of the awareness campaign to inform participants about the topic to "lead the Standards" informations third seminar was held in Eskişehir. Lead the Standards!” The Awareness Campaign is carried out within the scope of the Technical Assistance for Developing the Standardization System and Raising Awareness.

RAM Administrators and School Principals discussed how to improve educational practices in schools through inclusion/integration, and what to do to strengthen the work with families and teachers who are actors in this process.

Turkish Standards Institute, organized as part of the awareness campaign to inform participants about the topic to "lead the Standards" information seminar was held in Konya on 19 August 2021. 

The seminar, which aims to create public awareness on standardization, started with the opening speeches by the President of the Turkish Standards Institute, Prof. Dr. Adem ŞAHİN,  Konya Chamber of Industry Assembly President Mr. Tahir BÜYÜKHELVACIGİL and Konya Chamber of Commerce Chairman Mr. Selçuk ÖZTÜRK.

After the informative presentations about the project, Konya Industry and Technology Provincial Director Vehbi KONARILI, Akkaya A.Ş General Manager Cevat AKKAYA and Konya Technical University Faculty Member and InnoPark A.Ş General Manager Prof. Dr. Fatih Mehmet BOTSALI's speeches continued with a "Standardization Platform" Presentation. The program ended with a question-and-answer session.

Role and Awareness Seminars in Integrative Education continue in Diyarbakır with school principals and RAM Administrators. Within the meetings the participants stated that they found the seminar useful in terms of improving the relations of schools with RAM, and stated that they gained very important information about the education and integration of students with special education needs.

Prepared under the “Interactive Training Seminars Through Drama” activity of the “Improving Occupational Health and Safety Project, Especially in the Mining Sector” (MISGEP), "SHIFT STORIES" with GÜVEN USTA” Kayseri tour of the 8-part interactive theater was completed with 3 plays.

Within the scope of the Begep project, seminars continue. Today, administrators and school principals met in Bursa in order to improve educational practices through mainstreaming and to remove obstacles to integrative education.

Within the scope of MISGEP, which is carried out by the General Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety (İSGGM) and financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, in order to improve the occupational health and safety conditions in mining workplaces and to raise awareness in this field, “MISGEP Mining Industry Consultation Meeting” covering 25 provinces in 7 regions of Turkey. Meetings” continues in Artvin. Artvin Deputy Governor Aydın GÖÇER, Artvin Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Seçkin KURT, Artvin MUSIAD President Celal ÖZTÜRK, representatives of public institutions, mining enterprises serving in the Artvin region and senior managers of NGOs attended the meeting.

Within the scope of MISGEP, "Mining Enterprises and NGO Managers Information Meetings" (2-9 August 2021) and "Interactive Training Seminars through Drama" (9-14 August 2021) will be held in Elazig, Erzincan and Artvin in the first two weeks of August.

Within the scope of the Begep project, the In-Service Training Programs meetings will be held in Ankara between 4-6 August. The contents of the in-service training programs, the methods and strategies foreseen for the presentation of the content with the meetings that will last for three days will be evaluated with the participation of academicians, Ministry of National Education personnel, teachers with educational experience in students with special educational needs, and representatives of relevant NGOs. The opening speeches of the program were made by the Ministry of National Education, General Director of Special Education and Guidance Services, Mr. Mehmet Nezir GÜL and Ministry of National Education, the speechs started with the General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services, Head of R&D and Projects Department President, Mr. Durmuş CAN.

The Launch Event of the Technical Assistance for Establishing Strong Monitoring, Evaluation and Coordination Mechanism For National Roma Integration Strategy (ROMSID), financed by the European Union and implemented by the Ministry of Family and Social Services, took place on 13 July 2021 in Ankara.

Within the scope of MİSGEP, which is carried out by the General Directorate of Occupational Health and Safety (İSGGM) and financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, in order to improve the occupational health and safety conditions in mining workplaces and to raise awareness in this field, “MİSGEP Mining Industry Consultation Meeting” covering 25 provinces in 7 regions of Turkey are continuing in Adana after Karaman. The tenth meeting was held in Adana, organized on the basis of providing occupational health and safety trainings to employers and workplace representatives. Adana Deputy Governor Muzaffer ŞAHİNER, General Manager of Occupational Health and Safety Cafer UZUNKAYA and other public institutions representatives, mining enterprises serving in Adana region and senior managers of NGOs attended the meeting, which was held on July the 13th.

The Pre-Scholarship Information Seminar, organized for scholars who will continue their education in other European countries with the Jean Monnet Scholarship Program in the 2021-2022 academic year, was held in Ankara on July the 12th

The opening of the seminars of the importance of special education and inclusion and integrating education was opened by the Head of Department of the General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services of the Ministry of National Education, Mr. Durmuş CAN,all had the opportunity to discuss with RAM administrators and school administrators.

The 8-part interactive theater tour titled "SHIFT STORIES WITH GÜVEN USTA", prepared within the scope of MİSGEP, was completed with 9 plays in Manisa. During the Manisa tour, which started on June 28, 2021 and ended on July 8, 2021, 4 plays for İmbat Mining employees, 3 plays for Demir Export Soma Eynez Underground Coal Enterprise employees, and 2 plays for Yeni Anadolu Mining Technologies employees were performed.

The interactive theater play was staged in 7 daytime and 2 night shifts, reaching a total of 2360 mine workers. The event won the attention and appreciation of the participants, which received contributions and opinions of the mining employees after each episode. After Manisa, the theater will be staged in Aydın, Denizli and Burdur provinces and will continue to meet with mine workers. The event will be completed by the end of September 2021.
