The Opening Meeting of the Technical Assistance for Capacity Building for Measure Advisory Services of the IPARD II Programme in Turkey, which is co-financed by the European Union and conducted by the Republic of Turkey the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Agrarian Reform, Department of Managing Authority for EU Structural Adjustment, took place on May 2^nd_, 2019 in Ankara.

Opening Meeting of “Technical Assistance for the Improvement of Standardization System and Raising Awareness” project co-financed by Republic of Turkey and EU and implemented by Turkish Standards Institution was held on 20.02.2019 in Grand Ankara Hotel.

The trainings to be held in 10 pilot provinces will be in the areas of “Project Cycle Management, Voluntary Management and Mobilization of the Community.”

The grant implementation training conducted within the scope of Town Twinning between Turkey and the EU Grant Scheme was completed on 25 January 2019.

Implemented by the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (ARDSI), Technical Assistance for Improving the Awareness of Food Processing Sector and Farmers in Terms of EU Environmental and Hygiene Standards and IPARD Support funded by the EU and the Republic of Turkey, started with a press conference held on 17 January 2019 in Ankara. 

The Ministry of Family and Social Policy has been putting a lot of pioneering steps in relation to Civil Society Organizations and adding a new one to it, with implementing the Technical Assistance Project for Strengthening Capacity of Ministry of Family and Social Policies for Public – CSO Cooperation. 

Technical Assistance for Strengthening Consumer Protection Project which will be implemented by Ministry of Customs and Trade General Directorate of Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance with the Technical Assistance of WYG Türkiye, held on 29th July 2018 with the participation of the Minister Mr. Bülent Tüfenkci at Ankara.

The Certificate Ceremony for 2013-2014, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 academic years Jean Monnet Scholars who successfully completed their research and post-graduate studies in the prestigious European universities, was held on 27 April 2018 in Ankara. 

Town Twinning Between Turkey and the EU Project which is implemented by Ministry for EU Affairs with the technical assistance of  WYG Türkiye officially started with a Kick Off Meeting on 6th April 2018. The overall objective of the project is increase administrative capacity at local level in Turkey's EU Accession process.

WYG Türkiye has formally opened its new building at a cocktail reception on 7th February 2018.
